My name is Kevin G. Bufton, and I am a thirty-nine year old father-of-two, husband-of-one, and writer of speculative fiction, in that approximate order. I’ve been telling stories since I was six years old, but I didn’t think to find an audience for them until I hit my thirties.
Between 2009 and 2017, over sixty of my short stories and flash fiction appeared in anthologies, magazines, and websites the world over.
All of these stories can be found in my collection – The Basement Sessions: Collected Fiction (2009-2017) – available in paperback and Kindle formats.
I live in Birkenhead, on the Wirral Peninsula, with my wife and children, where I write my darkest fiction whilst wearing my brightest shirts.
I also think the world could do with more rum.
